Welcome to Fairburn Elementary School:
I am incredibly excited that you are part of the Fairburn Community.
We are located in the beautiful Westwood Community within walking distance of one of the most prestigious Universities in the nation, UCLA.
Our diverse student body includes students from over 11 countries, speaking over 12 languages.
Fairburn believes every student can learn and succeed in a supportive environment encouraging creativity and social-emotional growth.
Our faculty and staff are committed to providing our students with a strong learning foundation that can help them unlock their full potential. Fairburn is where they learn and develop valuable life skills that will help them in the real world, including social-emotional coping skills.
Fairburn was named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2019, and we continue to work hard to maintain the academic rigor that afforded that recognition. With the assistance of our Boosters', Fairburn provides enrichment with weekly Computer Classes, Visual Art Instruction, Instrumental Music, Physical Education, and Sustainable Gardening.
Fairburn believes that when parents are involved in their school, students have better attendance and are more likely to graduate and continue their education, so we welcome Parent Volunteers.
